Lancashire will be hoping to carry momentum from their victory over rivals Yorkshire Vikings last night, as they travel to Nottinghamshire for their second NatWest T20 Blast match in successive days.
Ashley Giles' side grabbed a 26-run victory in front of a sell-out crowd last night, with Liam Livingstone and Karl Brown both making half-centuries to help Lancashire make a formidable total of 204/7.
The Outlaws have only played two matches in the Twenty20 competition thus far, losing both comfortably to Durham and Warwickshire. Before their victory at home to Yorkshire, Lancashire had also lost their opening two fixtures, but the reigning champions will look to continue their success from last night with a win over a strong Nottinghamshire one-day side.
Nottinghamshire announced two high-calibre overseas signings recently, with Andre Russell and Imran Tahir both joining the Outlaws' roster. However, neither player will make an appearance against Lancashire this evening.
Nottinghamshire 13-man squad: Dan Christian (c), Jake Ball, Matt Carter, Luke Fletcher, Harry Gurney, Brett Hutton, Michael Lumb, Steven Mullaney, Samit Patel, Greg Smith, Brendan Taylor, Riki Wessels, Sam Wood.
Lancashire 14-man squad: Steven Croft (c), Jos Buttler (wk), Karl Brown, Jordan Clark, George Edwards, Martin Guptill, Rob Jones, Arron Lilley, Liam Livingstone, Saqib Mahmood, Stephen Parry, Alviro Petersen, Tom Smith, Neil Wagner.
