Lancashire won the toss and chose to bowl.
There was a breathtaking display before the start of play.

The two teams shake hands.
Michael Carberry was the in-form batsmen.
He hit 11 fours and 3 sixes.
Hampshire raced to 72 after their power play.

James Vince set the tone, hitting the first ball for four.



Stephen Moore attempts to catch Carberry.
Carberry drives yet another four.
Gareth Cross attempts a stumping but Carberry is home safe.
Vince raced to 50 from just 25 balls.
Vince takes the applause as he is out for 60.
Carberry also made 50 and did so in 31 balls.
Adams consoles umpire Neil Mallinder who
was hit by the ball.
Jimmy Adams added 25 from 17 balls.
Carberry survives another potential scare.
Carberry continued to be the focus of the innings.

Adams is bowled by Steven Croft.
Sean Ervine made just 6.
Moore catches Ervine with Hampshire on 187-3.
Carberry celebrates his maiden t20 century from 66 balls.
Tom Smith smashed Dimitri Mascarenhas for six twice.
Moore was out for a first-ball duck
in the last match but came back strong.

Moore hit 4 fours.
Moore made 44 from 32 balls.

Karl Brown accelerated the innings - smashing
5 fours and 2 sixes.
Brown was controversially bowled by Danny Briggs for 49.

Former Hampshire player Simon Katich is bowled for a first-ball duck.

Play is held up by the sprinklers.

Liam Dawson attempts to stop them - unsuccesfully!

Moore was caught and bowled by Dawson.

Steven Croft made 43 from 29 balls.

Croft hits Chris Wood for six.

Gareth Cross helped Lancashire in their chase
smashing 2 fours and 2 sixes in his innings of 32.

Lancashire needed four from the final ball, but
could only manage two, losing by one run.
