Preview: Lancashire Lightning v Warwickshire Bears RL One Day Cup

Lancashire's 50-over campaign is off and running after a tense win against Middlesex at Blackpool and the Red Rose will be aiming to build on their success with their first Royal London fixture at Emirates Old Trafford this season.

Warwickshire are yet to record a victory in the tournament so far, losing their only two completed matches to date after a washout either side of these defeats.

The Bears have not only been beaten, but defeat has also come by significant margins. Their campaign started with a nine-wicket thrashing at Nottinghamshire and their latest fixture ended with a 152-run win for Essex, who enjoyed similar success against Lancashire when they visited Chelmsford, inflicting a    seven-wicket defeat on Ashley Giles' side.

Warwickshire made it to Lord's last season, only to be pipped by Durham by just three wickets. They have stormed the North Group of the Natwest T20 Blast, securing a home quarter-final after finishing top of the group and Warwickshire also have a vested interest in Championship cricket, currently sitting second in Division One.
